The load bearing frames on all Kubico pieces consist of elm heartwood which is naturally seasoned for at least three years on the company premises. Removable seat and back cushions, fabricated from high quality Waterlily™ foam, are sheathed in bonded plush and polyester wadding. Additionally, the back cushions are an engineered system utilizing patented Esoflex panels, allowing for an extremely low frame height yet simultaneously providing full back support with a conventional seat height – truly a marvel of engineering prowess never before seen in upholstered furniture.

The Kubico’s Waterlily™ foam is 100% mechanically and chemically recyclable. It is the first polyurethane to exclusively use water and/or carbonic anhydride as expanders rather than CFC and halogenated or other toxic substances. The Kubico’s Waterlily™ foam is healthier. Its open cellular structure allows for high breathability allowing air to freely circulate inside the foam. The warmth and humidity absorbed during contact with the human body are quickly dispelled, reducing the potential for allergic reaction and proliferation of mites found in competing materials.

Upholstery options include more than 50 premium leather color selections, as well as two hundred fabric and color options. The legs are available in 4 different finishes: varnished in 8 colors with epoxy powder paint, brushed chrome, polished chrome or bronzed. The Kubico Armchair is also available on a swivel base. Unlimited configuration options exist in a multiplicity of sizes for the sofa/sectional units.
