ON THE SMITH & WATSON SHERATON GAME TABLE
Smith & Watson, masters of fine English and continental antique reproduction furniture since 1907, introduces the luxurious antiqued mahogany Sheraton Game Table (B-40).
Resting on four graceful tapered legs, The Sheraton Game Table features a chess board of inlaid satin and rosewood which slides out effortlessly to reveal a tooled leather backgammon board. Two slide-through drawers on either side of the table house the game pieces and can be accessed from opposite sides of the table. A figured mahogany top can be substituted for the chess board by flipping it over. Additional custom wood finish options for the table include fruitwood or walnut.
Reminiscent of the genteel lifestyle of an earlier era, game tables are enjoying resurgence in popularity. An attractive addition to any room, the games table is inviting to both the serious and occasional player.
